Things About Me

My name is Gabriel Takeall and I was born in New Rochelle but raised in Highbridge. Growing up I used to get bullied a lot in elementary school but I was one of the smartest kids in the school. However, in middle school I had a lot of friends and people were friendly. Sports was fun to play everyday. Thats when my love for basketball grew, when my basketball team lost in the playoffs. It made me motivated to work harder and play the sport consistently. Although, those series of events happened in high school the narrative changed.

Education And Goals

During freshman year I maintained a 3.4 gpa and made the honor roll. The next following year I was so excited to make it again, but I had this girlfriend that would distract me and take my eyes off of the ball with my grades. During my sophomore year, my gpa slipped to a 3.0 gpa and I used to skip class a lot in the first semester. Luckily, I still passed my classes and regents. Right now in my junior year of high school I am looking forward to boosting my gpa so I could get into a great college and continue my education. I also want to make it to the basketball team this year. My dream college is Lousiana State University because as a kid I used to cheer for this school team in their football games, but now I want to be apart of their alma mater.

Conclusion

In conclusion, my journey so far has been shaped by my passion for sports, my drive to constantly improve, and the supportive people in my life. As I work towards the goal of attending LSU and pursuing my love for basketball and football, I'm excited to face the challenges ahead and continue growing as a person both on and off the field.
